David's mission is to change the way that we talk and think about climate change. In his speech he discusses how the Paris Climate Agreement will change the pattern of the fight against the Global Warming, or it will not.
Influencing UK government policy, chairing part of the COP21 UN climate conference and fronting a pioneering climate media campaign that reached over 3 million people are just a few of David's achievements as a climate change campaigner since being impacted by a stark reminder of climate change as a teenager.
He is leading climate communication reforms worldwide and has worked with the British Council, International NGO's and as a Global Teen Leader for the New York based We Are Family foundation. He has blogged for international media outlets such as the Huffington Post and has appeared on BBC, Sky and MTV.
David now, 23, is now working alongside the UNFCCC on Education & Youth Empowerment. Additionally he is an expert contributor to the UNEP Global Environmental Outlook Report and a partner with WHO initiatives.
