What difference can a small investment in young women in India make? How can we change the way that we think about charity, as an investment in the future rather than a donation? Ishani Gupta talks about her experiences in India helping to educate and empower young women.
Ishani Gupta, a sophomore at Maumee Valley Country Day School, has spent her time in high school volunteering locally and internationally. Her interests range from playing piano in her free time to participating in a few school sports. She hopes to someday become a surgeon and to improve the quality of women's health.
