Yayati Tanwar, a junior at Coppell High School, is an entrepreneur in finance and technology and also a filmmaker. He has an interest in psychology and history and this lead to his curiosity in how our societies form the way they do and how this affects our lives. He soon began to understand the power of cultural interaction and began having a larger comprehension of how cultural advancement is being hindered by one particular issue in society: cultural appropriation. What is cultural appropriation? And more importantly why should you care? These are questions he hopes to bring light to in this upcoming talk.
