What is a good debate and why do we need to promote a strong debate culture?

Mārtiņš Vaivars believes that we as a society could benefit a lot from a strong debate culture and even though organizing public debates could be extremely hard, we still need to do it.

Mārtiņš is the head of Finance at and co-founder of QUO tu domā?!

In 2013, he co-founded Quo Tu Domā, an organisation with a mission to promote the culture of debating and critical thinking in Latvia.

Mārtiņš is interested in debating, music, business strategy, philosophy and reading non-fiction. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
