Gloria Spindle on "Digital issues, guerilla tactics" at TEDxBerlin 2016. For more information visit http://www.tedxberlin.de.
Gloria Spindle is a co-founder of the Peng! Collective, a group of Berlin-based artists and activists responsible for impersonating Google at Republica, staging a surprise music video in a job centre, launching an army of sexism-fighting bots on Twitter, a drone flight over the NSA’s buildings and much more. Peng! mixes art, performance and civil disobedience to create subversive campaigns and interventions intended to resuscitate zombie society and revitalize activism as we know it. Their campaigns have been featured in media such as Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, Forbes Magazine and Der Spiegel and they have spoken to real secret service agents on the phone.
