With the potential of new technologies like CRISPR to give us the tools to alter living organisms, Yasseen questions if given the chance would we use it to create perfect humans? Or is it really our flaws that truly make us beautiful and human?

Yasseen is a senior at North High School. With a love for science, he plans on majoring in biology at Umass Amherst. Yasseen is of Moroccan descent, is interested in photography, medicine, and traveling.
