Our TEDx talk looks at dining through the lens of all 5 senses. As designers, we frame our dining experiences on incorporating a 360 degree view of eating: from the food, to the atmosphere, and all the nuances in between. For the past two years, we have been curating food and design events, from 20 person gallery exhibitions, to 200 person community engagement dinners. Through these adventures, we are not only putting food on the same high platform that we hold the design of the event, but we also continue to ensure that we are telling the story of where our food comes from.
A Roux event is a pop-up dining experience that merges food, design, story-telling, and the desire to spark inspiration in dining locally and creatively.
Roux is a pop-up dining experience that cross-pollinates food and design. We create intimate and interactive dinners, that celebrate food as the ultimate material for the exploration of design and craft. We showcase the entire sensory experience of eating: from the food, to the atmosphere, and everything in between. We pride ourselves on being design oriented, mobile, local and seasonal, and beautiful storytellers.
