Architectural heritage as a part of History suffers from time and people. Fedor Boytsov and his friends keep objects of the Past digitally based on photogrammetry in order to restore them in the Future. Vandalism has one face says Fedor. He calls to preserve the Present to understand the Past to change the Future smarter.
Fedor Boytsov is an architect, inventor, and a keeper of the architectural heritage from Odessa, Ukraine. In recent years he has been developing a technology to preserve digitally old buildings in Odessa and Kyiv. He runs a Pixelated Realities NGO which scans historical and architectural objects in order to create digital passports based on which those objects could be restored.
