The speaker would like to emphasize the importance of financial ethics both in the local and global scale. Financial ethics should not just end up as a matter of principle, but more importantly, as a matter of practice. Dr. Diaz clearly details several ethical malpractices in business whose consequences could've been abated.
Dr. Diaz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance and Department of Accounting, College of Business, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Chungli City, Taiwan. He is the Secretary of the Association for Chinese Management Educators, and also a Research Associate in the Quality Development & Accreditation Office of CYCU. He is currently a reviewer of several journal whose main focus is on international business and management. His research interests are in modeling financial and economic time-series and panel data, particularly using non-linear methods. He has authored several journal publications both locally and internationally.
