Obsessing over future goals can compromise our enjoyment of the present. Student Kimie Han discusses how music can help us cherish every moment we have.

Kimie is an aspiring pianist and violinist. As a freshman at Lake Forest High School, she has performed piano concertos with the Chicago Symphony Orchesta, Lake Forest Symphony, Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra, and also at other venues all around the world. Kimie has recently been selected as a 2016-2018 Lang Lang Young Scholar by the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. These opportunities allow her to share her passion of music with others, especially to generations of people, ranging from toddlers to seniors. Her goal is to spread the importance of music, and how it can affect society today.
