Composer Tom Hagerman brings a sense of whimsy and wonder to the classical genre in a performance of four original compositions. He is joined by Takanori Sugishita on violin, Summer L. Rhodes on viola, Evan Shelton on cello, Emily Maeda on piano, and Jeanie Schroder on tuba.

Tom Hagerman is a multi-instrumentalist who has recorded with everyone from M Ward to Crooked Fingers to Sage Francis. He’s also collaborated on pop performances with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and—along with his bandmates in Denver’s DeVotchKa—created new orchestral arrangements for Sweeney Todd. Tom is a Colorado native who attributes his artistic development to music education in public schools.
