Professor of physics at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Scientific diffusion enthusiast, he has been working for 15 years on experimental scientific research, building lasers that generate very short flashes of light, that are used on innovative materials and in the biology and research field, including medical applications too. He signed over 80 articles, which appeared on major international reviews. In 2015 he was granted by the EU for developing an innovative microscope based on laser impulses, in order to study human cells and identify cancerous tissues.
His speech would make us discover the project: how a flashing light could tell us if a human cell is healthy or not.
