In a world where our attention spans are ever-waning, it becomes increasingly important that the 21st century journalist understand the importance of information visualization. In "Interactive Data Visualization" Donald Griffin speaks on the need to understand the impact visualization has on not just the field of journalism, but on society as a whole.

Donald Griffin is a fourth year student studying Journalism with a minor in Psychology at Texas Christian University. He serves as the Editorial Intern for TCU Magazine, Managing Editor for TCU's student-run newspaper, TCU 360; and an eTern for TCU's ePortfolio, FrogFolio. As an aspiring journalist, he is passionate about the dissemination of information such that it is not only timely, but digestible.
