Tigran Petrosyan, is a native of Armenia who is currently pursuing a PhD physics, specializing in Biomedical Photonics at the University of Bern. His talk focuses on how technology and sophisticated algorithms may replace many jobs we currently see as quintessentially human, such as those in medical research and diagnostics, and what that means for us.
Originally from Armenia, Tigran Petroysan is currently pursuing his doctorate in physics at the University of Bern. His research specializes in optoacoustic imaging, a biomedical imaging modality finding its way to clinics and hospitals. His personal and professional experience in biomedical imaging brought him to the idea that research and further development in the field may replace what many doctors do.
