Join Adrienne as she talks about mental illness and mental health. She discusses the idea that through having compassion, concern, and truly connecting and listening to those who suffer from mental illness can lead to improved mental health and even recovery. By replacing shame toward those suffering from mental illness with empathy for them instead, healing can take place: this is the new conversation about mental health.
A lifelong innovator, educator and community-builder, Adrienne Kennedy has led forefront advocacy around themes of personal empowerment, healing from trauma, adolescent development and women’s spirituality.
