Music is a language that opens up a whole new world. Nicholas speaks about the need to bring music beyond concert halls to more diverse settings in the community, including schools, homeless shelters, and prisons. He starts this movement with a captivating classical guitar performance.
Nicholas Padmanabhan has played classical guitar for nine years, frequently performing in both formal concert venues and community outreaches. He performed on National Public Radio music program, Junior Bach Festival, and the Bear Valley Music Festival, and won awards at the Sierra Nevada Guitar Competition and Pacific Musical Society Competition. Nicholas is also a student of Scott Cmiel at the Pre-College division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studies music theory and chamber music.
