Valeriu talked about how it takes patience, really hard work and ability to accept failures as part of any educational process, to go against the mainstream, to be harsh and honest with yourself, courage to speak your mind, to dream big. And the concrete examples were the kids enrolled in one of the organization long term projects.

Valeriu Nicolae is a manager, programmer, moderator, and especially human rights activist. He is founder and chairman of the Policy Center for Roma and Minorities and co-founder of the European Roma Policy Coalition. He also worked at the Open Society Institute, and is currently regional director of the department of advocacy at World Vision.
