Shaheen speaks anecdotally about his experiences in leaving Islam, and the effects it had on his family relationships, particularly with his parents. Off the back of candid interviews with them and his Imam, he reflects on what he has learnt about faith, and the dilemmas it induces to hold such faith in 21st Century Britain.
