Professor Teng is aware of the importance of nuclear energy, and emphasizes the issue of trust in nuclear. We have to rationally analyze the importance of nuclear energy to Taiwan by weighing things, such as cost, reliability, stability, environmental impact, waste management, etc; and share the expert’s professional opinion to everyone. He believes that handling the nuclear mechanisms properly and making good use of this energy can make Taiwan and the world a better place.
Dr. Teng got his PhD from the University of California in Berkeley. He was a professor of Chung Yuan Christian University in the Mechanical Engineering department. He previously worked as a senior engineer and tech leader at General Electric and has been an advocate of Nuclear Energy for several years. His research interests include microelectronic components and cooling system , nuclear safety and severe accident analysis , plasma source collimation research, microfluidic channel , engine , fire, and space heat flow phenomena simulation.
