Dr. Subramony's talk focuses on personalized medicine, a developing practice that uses an individual's genetic and protein profile to create better and more accurate treatment plans; conversely, current therapies are characterized by a "trial and error" treatment approach. He details how such precision medicine can lead to better diagnoses and treatments in the future.
