Join Jen as she talks about how she traveled to Haiti after an earthquake devastated the area. While there, she discovered some of the reasons why the damage was so high: a lack of building code and structural engineering. Being an architect, she assembled a building team to help begin to change this around. Watch to learn more about the English in Mind Institute, a school she helped build in Haiti.

Jen Weaver graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture in 2006. Prior to founding Weaver Buildings in 2014, she worked in architectural firms in both Austin and New York. Weaver Buildings is a practice focused on the realization of unique building solutions that embrace context and encourage healthy living with luxurious and understated results.
