This talk looks at recent student activism in the African context and what language is the right language to bring the change people want to see in the world.
Dr. Thierry Luescher: He is the Assistant Director in the Directorate of Institutional Research & Academic Planning (DIRAP) at the University of the Free State. He featured in the Bloemfontein Courant in recognition of the book "Student Politics in Africa: Representation and Activism", which is a book he edited alongside Manja Klemen and James Otieno. The academic publication is a compilation of research conducted by 18 scholars from universities across Africa.
