Eve Geroulis is a marketing strategist and educator devoted to exploring the synergies between politics, economics and culture on a global stage. After a 17 year career as an advertising executive at agencies Leo Burnett, BBDO, SSCB|Lintas & Bayer Bess Vanderwarker, in 1996 she entered the high-tech arena and cofounded VC funded MyEventPlans.com a lifestyle dot com in 1999. During her agency career, Eve managed strategic equities for Quaker Oats, Lever, Wrigley, Johnnie Walker Scotch, Primedia and Cox Interactive Media. After a three-year professional hiatus raising her four children, Eve joined the faculty of Loyola University Chicago in 2003 where she imparts her professional experiences in the classroom. In addition to her undergraduate and graduate courses in Global, European, Political and Internet Marketing at Loyola's Chicago and Rome Campuses, Eve has served as Director of Loyola's Master's of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications Program. In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
