Transition Towns is a community-driven movement designed to fight climate change and stabilize local economies by fostering solidarity around local energy sources, local food, and local, responsible, businesses. In this talk, Rob Hopkins offers a proof of concept -- demonstrating how his town of Totnes shifted from a "long slow death" to the paragon of close-knit, twenty-first-century neighborhoods.
