"My presentation will focus on the concept of observation formulating our view of the world. Through play (when we are little), learning (at schools and extra-curricular activities), and through building our expertise in a certain field, we develop a unique opinion and approach to the problems surrounding us. I will demonstrate this through the use of videos and a poem/essay. " Anna Sinelnikova is fifteen years old and a student at North Allegheny Intermediate High School. She founded a volunteering organization, HOPE With Us (HOPEWithUs.org). In April 2011, she organized a benefit concert with proceeds going to the American Red Cross Japanese Relief Fund. In addition to her organization, Anna received numerous awards in piano and dance. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
