Raquell is from Minas Gerais. She learnt how to knit with her grandmother when she was little. She grew up passing her ideas and thoughts to the yarn and needle. She went to fashion school and decided to set up her own business. But unlike most of the designers of her generation, Raquell decided that all her production had to be handmade.
The hands that knit the garments of her collection are the same hands that have commited awful crimes in the past.
"To have faith in transformation. This is what moves Doisélles. Our products are made by people that are fully commited to changing their lives and are bought by people that fully believe in the power of social change.
