Louis Palmer is the first person ever to circumnavigate the world in a car powered entirely by solar energy. Without any personal financial resources, he set off to fulfill his childhood dream of traveling around the world, driving more than 54,000 km and crossing 38 country lines. In his talk, Louis shows how the world is full of solutions and what lessons he learned on his journey.

When Louis was an 11-year old boy he had a dream: „As a grown up I will travel around the world in a solar car!“ Twenty years later, he has dedicated his work to motivating people to think about and do their part to save the planet. Without any personal financial resources, he set off to make his childhood dream come true – driving more than 54.000 km and crossing 38 country lines. Thus, Louis is a real sustainability pioneer.
