What if it is possible to measure the time of death with the maggots in the corps? Revealing the secrets of the dead body by the remaining insects, is what Forensic Entomologists are focusing on. Park suggests not only the scientific information of forensic entomology, but also the key to develop forensic entomology in Korea.

Park is an eminent professor of forensic science in Korea University and trustee of director in 'The Korean Society for Legal Medicine'. He is also known as one of the researchers of forensic entomology. Because forensic entomology is the convergence between two studies of a different nature, it is fairly difficult to advance it. Nevertheless, He endeavors to lay the fundaments of the forensic entomology in Korea.
