Edgar Allen Poe once defined poetry as "the rhythmical creation of beauty.” However, in an educational world where facts are seen superior to speculation, poetry can often be overlooked as unimportant to learning. Listen to Claire Eberhart speak about her personal literary journey and the importance of poetry in a classroom setting.
As an avid reader and writer since elementary school, Claire often finds herself taking refuge in a book or journal. Winner of spoken poetry competitions and founder of the renowned Point B Poetry Jam, Claire extends her love for poetry far beyond paper and works hard to encourage others to join her.
