When a vaccination which was supposed to heal her poliomyelitis went wrong, Miss Adie was told she would use crutches all her life. Reflecting on the humbling events in her life, she shares us how each one can stand better, aided by our own crutches.

Guadalupe Isidro or simply, Ms. Adie to her students, graduated with a degree in Philosophy in De La Salle University. Her undergraduate thesis, titled "An Existential Triumph: An Analysis on the Death of the Significant Other", obtained the highest possible university grade. She is currently serving as Miriam College's Campus Minister and Professor in Theology.
