In between studying for school exams, Krtin worked on critical Alzheimer’s research. He was inspired to undertake real scientific research by his own medical experiences and thinks everyone with a curious mind can be a scientist.

Krtin attends Sutton Grammar School in Greater London. Krtin’s passion for neuroscience saw him enter Google’s 2015 annual science fair for which he had been shortlisted as one of just 20 finalists from across the globe. He went on to win the Scientific American Innovator Award.
