He started to work on artificial satellites when he was a student and started a venture in the end. He shows you the future and possibility of small private artificial satellites.
"Making space into a normal place" This is the mission that Axelspace, a company that is making business by space use using microsatellite, have put up. Nakamura, the head of the company, was not interested in space. Although after learning that there is a project for students to develop microsatellite, he has become fond of it. While participating in the project he started to feel that “making people use the microsatellite has a meaning.” In 2008, he founded Axelspace. Nakamura believes that the technology that we usually use without knowing is the technology that has matured and has been welcomed by the society. That is why he is aiming for a ‘normal space’ by the technologies he acquired for more than 10 years.
